Browser extension

Use the tool in Chrome and Edge

The extension analyzes the active page DOM locally and can locate visible elements. It is now available in Microsoft Edge Add-ons. The Chrome version is not yet published in the Chrome Web Store.

Get it for Microsoft Edge →

Install in Microsoft Edge

Open the store button on this page in Microsoft Edge. Select Get and confirm installation in the browser dialog. If the store says your browser is incompatible, open the link in Microsoft Edge. You can pin the extension’s W icon to the toolbar for easy access to analysis.

Local test version

If the owner supplied a ZIP, extract it and keep the folder in a permanent location. Open chrome://extensions or edge://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked and select the extension folder containing manifest.json.

Start only the analysis you want

Open a normal HTTP(S) HTML page. Click the W toolbar icon, then Analyze active page. Activate the icon on each new tab. Previous results are cleared. Browser-internal and certain protected pages cannot be analyzed.

Improve without automatic changes

Read explanations, use Find on page for visible targets and adapt examples in your project. Highlighting does not alter page content. Save a local report to continue later or share a reviewed result.

Managed computers

An administrator policy may block unpacked extensions. Do not circumvent it. Use local HTML analysis or ask your administrator about permitted installation methods.
