19 local checks powered by the same versioned engine in the extension and HTML tool. Results distinguish errors, recommendations, information and things we could not assess.
Metadata and indexing
Title, description, canonical, robots metadata, language, viewport and local hreflang syntax. Missing canonical is not always wrong and noindex may be intentional. Remote targets and HTTP headers are not fetched.
Content and structure
H1–H6, image alt/dimensions, links, fragment targets, rel attributes and aggregate word/character counts. HTML input cannot assess CSS layout, visibility or image position in a current viewport.
Structured data and sharing cards
JSON-LD syntax and recognized types plus basic Open Graph/X metadata. Search and social previews are illustrations, not guaranteed appearances or Rich Results approvals.

Explanations and examples help you assess a fix. The extension can also highlight visible elements and open a local report. No changes are automatically applied to your website.
