Is the tool free?
Yes. Basic features require no payment, account, subscription or paid API. The website and extension share a local rule engine.
Why enter a URL if you never visit it?
Relative links, fragments and canonical need a page address for interpretation. The field supplies that context without initiating a fetch. It is not evidence of current HTTP status.
Does 100 mean perfect SEO?
No. The score only describes assessed checks. Unchecked/inapplicable rules are excluded. Google rankings, intent, external links, measured performance and many other factors are outside the assessment.
Why do extension and HTML results differ?
The extension sees a rendered DOM. Pasted HTML may lack JavaScript changes and the parser has no viewport. The same rules operate with different evidence limitations.
Can the tool fix my website automatically?
No. It supplies explanations and examples for you to assess and adapt. It does not apply changes or publish anything.
Are HTML and files uploaded?
No. Processing is local. Scripts, image addresses and iframe sources in input are never executed or loaded. Still avoid sharing confidential reports/material with others.
